Races Enduro, Downhill
Genna first started biking three years ago. What started out as a hobby she picked up to kill time between her Stand Up Paddleboard races (while she was training in epic locations like California, Squamish, and North Van; became a sport that she fell in love with. After one season she jumped right in doing a few big trips to Vancouver and Moab and hasn’t looked back. Now it has become a family activity that she shares with her husband and toddler. You will often see her bombing the descents in Edmonton and Canmore with her 2 year old riding shotgun on her enduro bike.
Never one to want to climb, she will begrudgingly do it with some jokes, a lot of goofing around, many snacks, and the singing of whatever song is in her head. Once the trail points down though it’s all business. Fast, rooty, janky, and wild is the preferred. Followed by a few beers with friends and some laughs. It’s all about spreading the stoke and following the dopamine.
