2025 Race Announcement
We are sad to announce that Vixen Racing will not be running our annual Trailblazers Kid’s Race in 2025.
The Kid’s Race is a wonderful event beloved by many. However, organizing and running a race event that encompasses ages toddler to 17 requires a significant amount of coordination. We have 6 different race courses, 18 different race categories, 12 different podium sessions, and 57 prizes and medals!
Due to various family, health, and life reasons, the team and our extended crew do not have the capacity needed to organize the race in 2025.
However, all is not lost!
There will be a Trailblazers Kids Race in Edmonton in August, for kids aged 16 and under, organized and run by Edmonton Mountain Bike Festival (EMBFest).
EMBFest is a fantastic family friendly event and we hope you will check it out!
Still want more opportunities for kids racing???
ANYONE in the community can organize a Trailblazers race through the Alberta Bicycle Association, and anyone can obtain the needed permits from the city of Edmonton.
We are so grateful for the huge amount of support we have received from the community over the last few years to make this event happen. Thank you to our participants and to our amazing volunteers.
